Educational Qualification: Applicants need to pass Matriculation/ITI or its equivalent degree from any affiliated board.

Age Limitation:Age of the job fighters should be 18 to 30 Years for post-1 and 18 to 33 years for post-2 as on the 01.01.2014.

Selection Process:Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Sports Trial followed by Medical Test and Interview.

Fee of application:

• The Examination fee of Rs. 40/- (Rupees forty) only is payable either in form of Demand Draft (DD) / Indian Postal Order (IPO/ Payable at GPO, Kolkata) drawn in favour of ‘FA&CAO, Eastern Railway Kolkata’.
• SC / ST candidates, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, Women candidates, Minority* candidates, Candidate belonging to economically Backward Classes** are exempted for payment of examination fees.

Pay Scale

• Category -1 Group ‘C’  Rs. 5200 to 20200/-+ GP Rs. 1900/- or Rs. 2000 in PB – I
• Category – 2 Group ‘D’ Rs. 5200 to 20200/-+ GP Rs. 1800/-
