Pay Scale
| Rs.9300-34,800 PB-2 Rs.4600/- Grade Pay Total emoluments excluding T.A. HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs.22,935/-p.m. approximately |
Age
| Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualificaiton (s)
| EDUCATIONAL Degree in Leather/Footwear Technology from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent and EXPERIENCE Two years experience in supervisory capacity in a technical/industrial unit in the Leather Training/Finishing Industry or in Footwear/Leather goods or experience in Promotion of Small Scale Industries in areas of entrepreneurship development and quality control. NOTE The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |
Desirable Qualificaiton (s)
| i Familiarity with the latest techniques of production and use of modern machines, equipment and tools as used in the leather and footwear making industry and ii Basic knowledge of Computers particularly application side of currently used software/packages for Offices. |
Duty(ies)
| To visit Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and advise their supervisory staff and workers about different problems, suggest improved techniques of production, quality standards and method of working, conduct entrepreneurship development programmes and tests for quality certification in the field of Leather Footwear Technology. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time. |
Probation
| Two years. |
Head Quarter
| Any where in India. All India Service Liability. |
Other Details
| General Central Service, Group ‘B’ Gazetted Non-Ministerial. The posts are permanent. |
